    Auctions Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

    Customer privacy policy

    Personal and sensitive user data collection.

    All your information is subject to the "ADJD Auction" for privacy, collected information from users for the sole purpose of user verification and transparent bidding.
    • Collected Information
    1. Full Name
    2. Email address
    3. Phone Number
    4. Country
    5. Passport number if provided
    6. IBAN number if provided
    7. Personal documents if provided for verification purposes only
    Collected data will not be shared with any other third party or used for the purpose of Advertisement. Collected data will only be used for registration process and creating user.

    Account and Associated data Deletion

    Account deletion can be requested from the mobile application

    Application permission

    1. ADJD Auctions use of camera during the registration purpose of the purpose of validating face image provided with identification document.
    2. ADJD Auctions GPS location for the purpose of enabling route location to the auction service item.
    3. ADJD Auctions read SMS for the purpose of auto-filling of the OTP received
    4. ADJD Auctions read and write from storage device only to download deposit receipts documents and display documents to logged in user.
    Real Estate
    1. In order to participate in the real estate auction, the subscriber must be a national of the United Arab Emirates, except for real estate which can be owned by foreigners in accordance with the laws in force in the country. Properties offered exclusively to UAE nationals and freehold properties shall be identified in the auction announcement.
    2. The person interested in bidding must pay in advance to the auction account of the Judicial Department not less than 20% of the base bid price of the property being bid on, by bank transfer, by a credit card accepted in the country, or by a certified bank cheque, and shall complete the payment of the balance if he/she is the successful bidder, within a maximum period of 10 days from the date of adjudication through the same payment methods mentioned above.
    3. Should the bidder fail to pay within the above-mentioned ten days, the amount of the security deposit shall be withheld and the procedure shall be referred to the competent enforcement judge to initiate proceedings against the defaulting bidder in accordance with the applicable laws and procedures, by compelling him/her to pay the missing amount of the price of the property after a new auction.
    4. If a bid is placed on a property in the last 5 minutes of the auction time, an additional 5 minutes will be added, and so on each time a new bid is placed without being bound by a maximum.
    5. Following knock down and payment of the price in full, the outcome of the auction shall be submitted to the competent judge for approval of the auction adjudication in accordance with the legal provisions governing auctions.
    6. When the offer of a bidder is approved, any other person who is not prohibited from bidding shall have the right, within ten days of the date of adjudication, to outbid the last bid by at least an additional ten (10) per cent, provided that the total amount offered and the related costs are deposited in the auction account of the Judicial Department. In such a case, the auction shall be reconvened within seven days.
    7. The highest bidder shall be awarded the auction only by virtue of a judgment rendered by the enforcement judge.
    8. The property will be registered in the name of the successful bidder registered in the application, after the adjudication has been made by applying to the relevant authorities.
    9. The property shall be sold on "as is" basis, and the person wishing to bid shall have to check the features of the property offered for sale, and inspect it personally, at his/her own risk using his/her own experience and resources.
    10. The successful bidder will be required to pay a service charge of 1% of the price in addition to a sum of 10,000 dirhams to be paid during the period running from the date of approval of the successful bidder's offer to the issuance of the auction award judgment, in addition to any fees and expenses required by other authorities to complete the registration process.
    Cars
    1. The person interested in bidding shall pay in advance to the auction account of the Judicial Department not less than 20% of the base bid price of the vehicle being offered, by bank transfer, by a credit card accepted in the country, or by a certified bank cheque.
    2. Bidders who subscribe via the application can bid for an unlimited number of vehicles offered for auction, up to the value of their deposit.
    3. The successful bidder must pay the difference in amount within two days from the date of adjudication through the application, failing which the deposit will be retained and measures will be taken by the competent enforcement judge to compel him/her to pay the missing amount of the vehicle price after a new auction.
    4. The bidder may increase the bid price by an amount determined by him/her, taking into account the base bid price.
    5. The auction will go on for 24 hours; however, the Enforcement Division may extend or reduce the period of time the vehicle is exhibited at the auction as it deems appropriate.
    6. If a bid is placed on a vehicle in the last 5 minutes of the auction time, an additional 5 minutes will be added, and so on each time a new bid is placed without being bound by a maximum.
    7. Following knock down and payment of the price in full, the outcome of the auction shall be submitted to the competent judge for approval of the auction adjudication in accordance with the legal provisions governing auctions.
    8. The vehicle sold at auction shall be registered in the name of the account holder.
    9. All vehicles are sold on "as is, where is" basis, and the Enforcement Division does not guarantee any incorrect data shown on the vehicle on display.
    10. The bidder shall be responsible for verifying the data and condition of the vehicle on display, and shall examine the vehicle he/she intends to purchase at its location according to the applicable procedures and mechanisms in the vehicle location.
