The Judicial Department, as it seeks to achieve its development project, is guided by the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, may God protect him, calling for supporting the independence of the judiciary, to achieve a strong, fair, and successful justice capable of caring for the rights of the state, its citizens, and residents. Therefore, the judiciary exercises its role in imposing the rule of law and fortifying national achievements, supported by the expertise of capable advisors and qualified national cadres aware of their responsibilities. As part of the development endeavours and efforts to implement the strategic plan to develop the performance of the judicial and administrative apparatus, ADJD was keem to absorb modern systems of information technology because of their relationship to capacity development, performance improvement, speed of completion, procedures streamlining, and deepening of communication between the various parties to the litigation process, which achieves the vision of the Abu Dhabi government by providing advanced services at international levels and creating an ideal environment characterised by efficiency and transparency. In this context, the launch of this website, behind which the department seeks to achieve a number of purposes, the most prominent of which is deepening the judicial and human rights culture, defining the vision, mission, and objectives of the department and its organisational structure, and enabling the public inside and outside the country to obtain correct and adequate legal information and to provide their opinions and comments. This website will also enable the public to use electronic media to obtain the judicial and justice services provided by the Department easily and quickly. The Public Prosecution plays its pivotal role in defending society and the state against any threats or dangers that may harm security or public welfare It is the entity that does not deviate from the right, the truth, and the public interest. As is the case in civilised societies, the public prosecution Office in Abu Dhabi is always looking for ways to protect society and promote the culture of youth in order to preserve their lives and future.
