What is the UAE Pass Account?
It is an account associated with the Emirates ID card supervised by the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates represented by the General Authority for Regulation of Telecommunication Sector. It is the entry window for many federal and local government agencies including the Judicial Department. After creating this account, you can enjoy many electronic and smart services provided by governmental entities.
How do I create a Smart Account and what are the requirements?
To create a smart account, you need to have an ID card reader compatible with the Emirates ID card or you can go to any of the registration devices spread throughout the country. To know their location, please go to the following link: www.smartpass.government.ae. The account can also be created through the main branch of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.
I have created a smart account, however my case has not been shown and I cannot make an application in relation thereto?
In this case, you should visit the ADJD Court - Customer Happiness Centre, to synchronize the cases you are involved in with your smart account, then cases will be displayed to you on the website.
Being an attorney or representative of an individual, owner, company, or establishment, can I apply for the service?
No, the service is currently available for "individual" customers or principals only..
How can I choose the right service?
Upon selecting the required case, you will find a list of basic services available; when you press the main service, many subsidiary services will appear indicating the requirements. To have more information about the services and requirements, you can seek the assistance of ADJD employees, contact the call center, or any other communication channel available to you.
What is the data-update page?
When you sign up, you can go to the Courts Online Services page, your data page (such as name, address, etc.) will appear for one time only, so you have to verify and update your data and then click Submit to continue submitting your application.
Do I have to pay for services?
Some Services require the payment of legal fees, while others are free. When choosing a service, the prescribed fee will be shown directly and the fee must be paid by a credit card after pressing the Submit button.
I have submitted an application, how can I inquire about its status?
Currently, you can inquire about the status of your application by logging in to your smart account through which you applied for the service on the website or smartphone, go to the "Digital Courts Services" page and then go to the "My Orders" page, finally choose the request to inquire about. You'll find a notification message about your request and what you need to do.
Do I have to come in person to receive the application?
Currently, some applications require you to attend in person to receive the final original product, such as the "Executive Instrument Request". However for some services, you can obtain a copy of the request by logging in to your smart account through which you applied for the service on the website or smartphone. You can go to the "Digital Court Services" page, press "My Orders" page and then download the final product of the service, and get a copy thereof (such as "To Whom It May Concern Certificate"). Should you wish to obtain an original print copy of the certificate, then you will have to attend in person.
How long does it take to receive a response after submitting an application?
Normally, you will receive a response to your electronic application within a period of not more than one working day. If it takes longer, you can contact Abu Dhabi Judicial Department through any communication channel you prefer.
