Occupational Safety and Health Management System Policy

The Judicial Department policy - Abu Dhabi establishes the priority of carrying out all tasks and activities, including the safety and health of all workers, visitors and contractors, in addition to those who have a connection with its work. To achieve this, the department will abide by the following:
1. Commitment to apply the requirements of the Abu Dhabi Emirate system for occupational safety and health and other relevant legislative requirements as well as work to measure the extent of conformity with these laws and legislations continuously and perform all activities and businesses in a safe and healthy manner.
2. Applying the highest levels of performance by setting standards for performance, general goals and interim goals, reviewing and measuring them within an integrated system for occupational safety and health management in line with the emirate’s policy and with the Abu Dhabi Emirate’s Occupational Safety and Health System as well as with standard and legislative regulations related to occupational safety and health and making the utmost efforts of awareness and training And other means to ensure that all employees follow and apply standard regulations related to occupational safety and health.
3. Provide workplaces that meet the best occupational safety and health standards and take all necessary measures and precautions to prevent occupational accidents and diseases and enhance employee welfare and health in order to maintain safe, healthy and risk-free workplaces for all personnel and contractors who work within the limits of their responsibility as well as everyone who may be affected Its activities.  
4. Providing all the required resources to implement and develop the Occupational Safety and Health Management System.
5. Report all incidents, including accidents that do not result in injuries or material damage, and investigate and implement all recommendations to prevent their recurrence.
6. Determine the role and responsibility of the Judicial Department towards workers with regard to implementing work procedures related to occupational safety and health aspects, preparing safety procedures and instructions and maintaining their application to reduce the likelihood of injuries, damage or damage to property, and the distribution of roles and responsibilities related to occupational safety and health to all employees according to job levels Explain it and follow up on its performance.
7. Providing protection means for all employees to reduce the chances of exposure to risks and providing medical care systems where necessary and to promote methods of handling and safe and safe use of dangerous materials and the safe disposal of their waste and training all employees in this, and this also includes the contractors.
8. Promoting awareness to enable workers to contribute to maintaining their safety and health in their workplaces.
9. Determine the dangers arising from the activities carried out by the Judicial Department and put in place procedures and programs to reduce them, provided that all individuals at all levels and in all department locations including the senior management are fully responsible for their knowledge of the occupational safety and health policy and its procedures and instructions that relate to their job duties and that They are aware of the dangers that affect them or others and adhere strictly to the requirements for their protection.
10. Take responsibility for managing contractors.
11. Work to review the occupational health and safety management system, procedures, and policy periodically (at least once a year) to ensure their effectiveness and suitability and to ensure continuous improvement of performance through periodic meetings of the relevant committee and meeting with the senior management of the annual reviews.

Environmental Management System Policy


The Judicial Department - Abu Dhabi seeks to improve the level of environmental performance resulting from the exercise of its activities and services related to its scope of work in order to protect the environment.
To achieve this, the department will abide by the following:
1. Compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations and other relevant legislative requirements as well as work to continuously measure compliance with these laws and regulations and perform all activities and actions to conserve the environment.
2. Applying the highest levels of performance by setting standards for performance, general goals and interim goals, reviewing and measuring them within an integrated system for environmental management in line with the emirate’s policy as well as with the standard and legislative regulations related to the environment and making the utmost efforts of awareness, training and other means to ensure that all employees follow the regulations Standard relating to environmental protection and its application.
3. Providing workplaces that meet the best environmental standards and taking all necessary measures and precautions to prevent environmental accidents and pollution in order to maintain a healthy and safe work environment free of risks for all individuals, employees and contractors working within the limits of their responsibility, as well as all who may be affected by their activities.
4. Providing all the required resources to implement and develop the environmental management system.
5. Report all environmental incidents to prevent their recurrence.
6. Determine the role and responsibilities of the Judicial Department towards workers with regard to implementing work procedures related to the environment for all employees according to job levels and explaining them.
7. Determine the role and responsibilities of the entity towards workers with regard to implementing work procedures related to environmental aspects to reduce the possibility of accidents and environmental damage.
8. Promoting awareness to enable workers to contribute to the preservation of the environment.
9. Determine the dangers arising from the activities carried out by the Judicial Department and put in place the procedures and programs to reduce them, provided that all individuals at all levels and in all of the department’s locations, including senior management, are fully responsible for their knowledge of the environment policy, procedures and instructions that relate to their job duties and that they are on Be aware of environmental hazards that affect them or others and adhere strictly to the requirements of protection from them.
