Interactive Case Registration

It is an interactive electronic service, the first of its kind in the world, which aims to govern the registration procedures in Abu Dhabi courts in a simplified and interactive manner without the need to know civil laws:

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. In order to file cases or claims before the courts of Abu Dhabi, the defendant must be a resident or licensed in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, or one of the following cases is met: :

Commercial: the implementation of the agreement or the work must be within the scope of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Real estate: the property must be located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Compensation: the damage must be within the scope of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Personal status: the claimant must reside in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Inheritance: the deceased's domicile, last place of residence or property must be present in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Labour: the workplace should be in Abu Dhabi

Rental: the lease contract must be registered with the Department of Municipalities and Transport in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, according to the registration area

Admin: the administrative entity should be affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Government

Summary matters: the place of execution of the judgment must be within the scope of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Interim orders: the place of execution of the order must be within the scope of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

2. In the event that the person who registers the case is exempted from the court fees, he/she must resort to one of the approved branches to register the case and submit an application for the exception from the fees. In the event that the court approves the application, the application is registered in one of ADJD branches due to the different nature of the application. ة

Requirements to complete the registration procedure:

Some types of lawsuits require a legal warning for the litigant to be sued, and this procedure has to be completed as part of the interactive registration service.

The case is registered based on the UAE ID number or the Unified Number of the visitor. In the absence of this detail, the case will not be registered until the completion of the investigation procedures from the competent authorities, for a fee estimated at 300 dirhams.

In the event that the documents and papers supporting the application are not in Arabic, they must be legally translated into Arabic and it is compulsory to ensure that they are attached to the case registration application.

You can register the case in both languages, whether Arabic or English. The claim form will be translated instantly to the other party, but the provision of the instant translation service is done with the aim of facilitating and ensuring the delivery of information and does not replace the necessity of submitting the claim form with a legal translation into Arabic for consideration by the competent court.

Instructions:

It is your responsibility to ensure that all data and applications submitted through the interactive registration service are correct.

The registration is done after paying the required fees to the court (if any). In case there is a difference in the required fees, the competent employee will contact you.

In the event that the case is registered with a non-competent court, it will be transferred to the competent court and the registration will be completed.

The service is currently available for submission by the concerned person or the legal attorney.

Acceptance or rejection of your application will depend on the legal controls and procedures.

The application will be cancelled automatically after 4 working days, during which the registration and notification fees were not paid.

The service fee will be calculated automatically, and the final fee may vary based on the case type, number of requests and the decision of the competent court.

The fees paid are reserved for the customer, and you will be notified in the event of a difference in fees during preparing the case before continuing the procedure
