Request to attest affidavit of sole breadwinner

This service enables you to attest the applicant's affidavit stating that he is the sole breadwinner who supports one or both of his parents, his brothers incapable of earning money, his unmarried sisters, or one of his descendants or ancestors, or otherwise supporting dependents eligible to a martyr’s pension payment, as a means of providing care and attention.

  • Application is signed before the attestation officer

  • Completed form is signed by the declarant and the attestation officer
  •  Receive the attested sole breadwinner affirmation after being signed by the competent judge

• Presence of applicant (declarant)
• Presence of the other party to whom the declaration is made for validation
• Presence of two adult witnesses having knowledge of the declarant and the incident to be witnessed.
• The dependent should be the most worthy of support among the declarant's relatives.
• Submission of proof evidencing the wealth of the breadwinner and the bankruptcy of the dependent.
• If case of supporting a married, divorced or widowed mother, a document evidencing so must be submitted, along with an affirmation of non-reinstatement of marriage in case of revocable divorce, or a medical report stating that the husband is not able to work and earn money in case of marriage.
• If the son is giving support to his father, brothers, or some of his descendants or ancestors who are incapable of making money, a medical report shall be submitted indicating their injury or disability which prevents them from working.
• This service is provided for the purposes of the National and Reserve Service.
General conditions
• If the certification is for a person who has completed 18 years of age, his / her guardian or curator must be present.
• If the document submitted is a court judgment, it must be conclusive and final.
• Judgments issued outside the country must be stamped with the executory wording of the competent court.
• If the person concerned or one of the parties fails to attend or is incapacitated, debilitated or is a legal person, the application must be submitted by a person acting on their behalf legally or lawfully, with the proof evidencing so.
• Any document issued outside the country must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• If the document is not in Arabic, it should be translated by a legal translation office certified  by the Ministry of Justice.
• No transaction shall be issued or attested if it is disputed between the parties at the time of authentication; or if it is within the jurisdiction of another authority, or otherwise contravenes sharia, laws, public order, or regulations.
• The judge may request any document that he considers necessary to prove the incident.
